Hi Corinna Vinschen, I installed cygwin in windows xp , I used the mirror site ftp:mirror.kernel.org. In the middle of the setup there was a error download incomplete and did try again. Once the installation is complete I started the startx command from cygwin.exe and the error was thrown as shown in the attachedment. Please do the needful.
