Thanks for your help! Before you answered I tried to rebase to a different base and then wasn't able to use cygwin anymore, so I started with a clean install. Until now it works, and when it doesn't anymore I'll try with making the library writable first. I completely forgot about that. I always seem to run into this problem when I try to compile rakudo. Any thoughts on that? BTW: I am on xp.
