I am still in need of help. The post install scripts are not successful. During some install attempts, the install completes but the log file says the scripts terminated abnormally.
* I did set setup.exe to run as administrator. * The path 'c:\cygwin\bin' was left in through all install attempts. I am at a loss. If there are any ideas, I welcome them. Summary: New Alienware laptop with Dell installed Windows 7. What other information would be important at this stage? I included a chgcheck from one installation. Many thanks, Durwin
