Correction: the fixes in the snapshot are sufficient for now, and will allow
mplayer to work. (There appears to be something else buggy on head that was
confounding my efforts to test a fix.)
Just updated to cygwin-1.7.0-62 and gcc4-4.3.4-1 tonight, and it appears
*anything* (sub-)dependent on libstdc++6 is segfaulting. Not just
MPlayer/FFmpeg (which dep libdirac, a C++ library), but anything based
on Qt/KDE, WebKit, Poppler, etc.
