Hi, You're question shows a basic misunderstanding of cygwin. You can run DOS and Windows programs using cygwin. The Cygwin DLL allows you to **compile** many unix/linux programs without change into windows programs that will then run on DOS or windows. It is **not** an emulator like vmware or wine or anything like that. I hope this helps.
