There was a botched patch for Win11 that I needed to back out to be able
to upgrade from my local install mirror, then I ran into a problem with
the bootstrap compiler unexpectedly not working since the update had
uninstalled libLLVM-20 which is needed by the bootstrap rustc.

After the initial hiccup it's now chugging along at load 29 or so with
some dips inbetween; not exactly full utilization, but much better than
before.  I'll see how it fares in testing and then maybe try the
-Zthreads options again to see if I can squeeze out a bit more speed.  I
don't think I'll run out of diskspace:
