A sentence of context here would have been nice: "I tried to upload my curl
packages at around 16:40, but nothing happened."
I would have said 11.00 but figured any MUA should give a more useful time
especially as who knows when and where anyone would read it and the packages may
have been picked up.
It seems like they got processed later during a periodic scan at 20:10.
Anyhow, thanks for pointing this out.
It seems that the mechanism for detecting an upload has finished (which I had to
rejig recently after some security changes on sourceware) suffered from a race-
condition, so it sometimes failed to notice that (so the processing of the
upload was delayed until the next periodic check)
I've made some improvements which hopefully close that window.
Great!
CC you as it looks like my usual email address may again have been unsubbed for
some reason, as one announcement never got through (not seeing on the archive or
public inbox), I can not get any response from the subscriber check, and my
question to overseers never got through, so could you please check, or ask
someone to check my status on the cygwin and/or sourceware lists, as if they get
any lack of response or problems, they just drop the email address?
[My email provider support seems to be useless, as they insist, after I entered
a trouble ticket from my account on their system, I respond with a PIN I did not
receive, to get support! I may have to bitch and switch again!]
