I remember discussing this on the list at some point, and the consensus
at the time was that this should not be done by default, but I don't
remember the reason(s). We could revisit this decision if enough people
have strong feelings about it. If so, I think the discussion should be
on the main Cygwin list so that non-maintainers can weigh in.
