This probably isn't strictly on-topic for this list but I'm solicting opinions. I'm wondering if the separation of cygwin-xfree and cygwin is of any use.
IIRC, I was reluctant to split the list when it first happened many years ago. I did it because the maintainer at the time didn't want to read the cygwin list. Our current X maintainers are more plugged into the mainstream Cygwin development so I don't think we really need the arbitrary split anymore. Does anyone else agree/disagree that the split is no longer required? I know that Yaakov agrees that the mailing lists should be merged but I'm wondering of Jon and others also agree. cgf
