It works with a relibtoolized guile-1.7.2 using libtool 1.5.20. Guile 1.6.x uses a modified copy of libtool 1.5.6. So for guile-1.7.2-3 I'll put the dlopen-ed .la files in usr/lib. For guile 1.6, it looks like we'll have to keep the .la files in /bin. > [*] there is also some what to set at project compile time It seems to work*) now, maybe autoconf/automake takes care of that? Jan. *) There is still the relink problem for libguilereadline-v-16.la and libguile-srfi-srfi-60-v-1.la that I work around by putting intermediate .la files back, the allow_undefined juggling and the postprocessing of the .la files: dlname, library_names, old_library and the absolute file names used in dependency_libs. -- Jan Nieuwenhuizen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | GNU LilyPond - The music typesetter http://www.xs4all.nl/~jantien | http://www.lilypond.org
