Benson Margulies commented on CXF-1451:
---------------------------------------
The issue here turns out to be a failure to tell Aegis about the type of the
HashMap. However, there's a question. Is it a good thing to build an
Any2AnyHashMap type that silently discards most or all input, as opposed to
complaining or delivering something?
> Aegis + JAXWS + RPC -> empty hash maps?

> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Aegis Databinding
> Affects Versions: 2.0.4, 2.1

>
> A JAX-WS service declared RPC/Literal with Aegis as a data binding fails to
> return data in a hash map.
> Needless to say, some refinement of the problem is required.
> I've got a failing test case.
