We have CVS in WINDOWS system. We are using CVS as source control system. Now we are planning to lock CVS head from all developers after giving one branch to all. But I am getting error when I am giving commands:- E:\ATG\ATG2007.1>cvs admin -lbuild_06082008 wmt cvs [server aborted]: usage is restricted to repository administrators E:\ATG\ATG2007.1>cvs chacl -R -r build_06082008 -m "0.2 has been locked" -a read,nowrite,notag,nocontrol,nocreate wmt cvs server: User 'BineeshU' cannot modify permissions for /wmi-mtep-p1 But my id has created with cvsadmin user as below cvs passwd -r cvsadmin -a BineeshU Still I am getting permission issue.
