Is it still true that packages shipped with GHC can't be sanely upgraded
to a later Haskell-Platform version? If that's true, then shipping it
as "vector" could make it difficult for the next Haskell Platform to
include a version of "vector" that has been tweaked a bit, and have that
Platform support GHC 7.0.x. (At least if we include "vector" in the
early/mid-2011 Haskell Platform revision then we'll presumably base the
Platform on the 7.0 line. And Is there any policy about whether the
Platform should make any attempt to support GHC versions other than the
exact one that we say it's shipped with?)
