Ideally, a user should be able to just flip a switch (or pass a command line parameter, as it were) and photon mapping just works, preferably well. But, PM has various options to tweak as well... such as photon count. It would be good to use sane defaults or heuristics for default values (e.g. choose the photon count of a light based on it's radius and brightness or so). And: does PM work together with directional lightmaps? And 'specular' lightmaps? -f.r. -- GMX.ch - Schweizer FreeMail-Dienst mit über 800.000 Mitgliedern E-Mail & mehr!
