Hi! I've been investigating a bit and noticed there is some support code in cspython stuff to support python versions<2.2 (old style classes).
As 2.1 is now pretty ancient i was thinking about dropping support for it, as it would simplify the bindings a bit (internally) and possibly allow for some optimizations after that.
