Hi! I was running a bunch of libre font workshops in Argentina last month, and Fundacion Gutenberg was one of the institutions who hosted me in Buenos Aires.
http://www.fundaciongutenberg.edu.ar/ The staff there are extremely enthusiastic about libre graphics, and made a serious comment about offering to host LGM 2012 if there was interest in the community.
