imho, it depends on the type of the list, too. this list: - accepts only mails from registered people and - (as far as i can tell) we wish to keep public the discussion started here i may have read a bit too fast the page you referenced, but i don't see any of the arguments against setting the reply-to field fit to this list. personally, i also would welcome, being able to answer to the list without having to try three times with different shortcuts. but, let's ask the question: - is there anybody in here, who needs the current behaviour and would have problems if the reply-to field is set to the mailing list?
