Ok, you're probably just shitting us, but I'll bite.

This is terrible news.  It means that any clueless law enforcement
person or affiliate can become an instant script kiddie.

We already know how warrants tend to be abused, and that 
illegally obtained information is often used as a basis for
getting a search warrant later.  What D.I.R.T. will enable
(if it really works as advertised, which I'm dubious about)
is anyone with the software to snoop.

Later, after getting some good inside "dirt," (perhaps
validated or extended by good-old gumshoe techniques), a warrant can
enable further "legitimate" intrusion.

What WOULD be good is if it only ran on Linux or, say, MVS/TSO.  (In
terminal or batch mode only, thanks.)  Then at least the cops would
need to know how to login to run it!
