Yes, says the MPAA, the Clinton and Bush administrations, and
at least one federal judge. That came up in the DeCSS trial.

The thing about the DeCSS trial, as I wrote about a year and a half ago,
is that 2600 likely violated the DMCA. The question then becomes whether
the DMCA is constitutional or not.
