So, think about this. What's the biggest problem the average citizen faces
because of the existance of the SSN?

Many entities treat knowledge of one's SSN as proof of identity.

If the government intentionally or accidently revealed all the SSN to name
mappings, there would be no way that anyone could foolishly make the
assumption that SSNs could be used as identification mechanisms anymore.

The whole SSN concept is fucked. Let the g'ment make them public. It will
dispell some of the popular myths surrounding it.
