I am trying to track down a problem which may or may not be
courier-imap, but I would appreciate some help to further isolate it.

Setup: client and server on same system. MUA is Sylpheed-claws 0.8.5,
Courier-imap 1.5.1, Gentoo Linux.

Problem: intermittently (about 50% failure rate) trying to move or copy
mails from one folder to another results in the mail not being copied.

Tests, client: have traced this right through Sylpheed-claws, which
appears to be issuing the correct UID COPY command and getting "OK" back
from the server.

Test, server: set up a debug file. One unsuccessful copy was initiated
and showed this in the log:

READ: NUMBER: 473
READ: ATOM: UID
READ: ATOM: COPY
READ: NUMBER: 3457
READ: ATOM: INBOX.Scratch.sc1
READ: EOL
WRITE: 473 OK COPY completed.

This would appear to indicate that the mail was copied, but it wasn't. I
would be grateful if anyone could offer any suggestions as to how to
proceed from here in trying to resolve this.

Keith
