You didn't state this but I assume that the disconnection occurs immediately? If yes, then look in /var/log/maillog (maybe /var/log/imap.log) for any errors. Is authdaemond running? You should be able to test with authtest whether it's working or not. If you can get successful output from authtest, then authdaemon is working properly. -- Regards...
