Hi List, Is there anyone who can tell me the difference between shared folders and sharing an account?
I'm running av virtula postfix/courier mailserver setup. Clients are MS Outlook (not express). I have some accounts read and used by two persons at the same time (info@) for example. This seems to result in hung connections where a restart of the client and some cases the whole MS Win pc to get out of this situation. I've readd about shared folders but do not really understand if this is the same thing as functional mailboxes on an exchange server or just a way to read some one elses mail stored in a spcific shared folder. My aim is to have a couple of people read for example the info mailaccounts mails and answer, delete and move mails in infos mailbox as if it where their own mailaccount. But this does seem to hang Outlook every now and then.
