If you are using mailboxes you should use filesystem quotas. I don't 
think mailbox format supports any other quota system.

If you are using maildir you can use the maildirquota extension. Postfix 
doesn't support quotas in maildirs so you will need to either patch it 
with the VDA patch set, or do your delivery with maildrop. In either 
case, you provide the quota in mysql and the mail system takes care of 
the rest.
