I have found that my Juce-based plugins work well in 10.6.8, with the following 
toolset:

- Xcode 6 (running in Yosemite)
- Using 10.8 SDK
- Targeting 10.6

Apparently these plugins pass auval in El Capitan. My previous plugins (built 
with Xcode 3.2) aren’t passing auval.
