No, I don't think so.
But i just saw, that there is a bug explaination in Bug 2275.

The output of 'hdparm -d ...' is correct, that means, in my case DMA is
definitly enabled.
During the boot process, with some Chipsets DMA ist first disabled, and
later in the boot process enabled, but without message, nice feature
;-)))
