It is almost impossible to keep that straightened. There are four drivers that ati.2 
replace and XFree86 will overwrite them everytime. The only thing I can think of when 
we are in beta or RC stage like now, is to add ati.2 to urpmi skiplist and them update 
them separately. At any rate, ati.2 won't be updated again until after 9.1 final but 
if Frederic updates XFree86 again, you'll have to reinstall ati.2.
