Problems: 1) Still imposible save changes to shorewall from Mcc, possible from a console runing drakxfirewall. 2) After install shorewall, just internet avalaible if you active: no firewall. 3) ICS (dragw from Mcc): the confirmation button has dessapeared. Even from a console runing dragw I haven't it. 4) If I use a previous drakxtools release, I can activate connection sharing but then shorewall is changed and again not Internet access. 5) I have tryed putting in shorewall avanced options to have additional ports open (80/tcp, 8080/tcp) but no way, just internet avalaible with not firewall and not ICS. Went to MCC and did the wizard and still could not connect. On hint from Francisco A. I uninstalled Shorewall and was immediately able to connect. From the logs it appears that shorewall is automatically rejecting packets from the host computer and from the firewall/router. Configuration in MCC does not change anything. So the only obvious solution is uninstall shorewall. This would not be obvious to a complete newbie. They would give up in frustration
