The KDE Control Center does not appear to be included in RC1. The component
parts all seemed to be there in the configuration | KDE area of the menu.
PLEASE include the Control Center. While the menu looks 'richer', it makes it
non-standard for KDE and /much/ harder to configure. One of the KDE shortcomings
is that the config features can be in one of several sub modules. So, for me to
configure my Desktop, it required me to continually navigate into and through
the menu (fairly deep too) before finding that I chose the wrong module and I
have to do it again and select a different one.
For standardization and easier desktop configuration, please retain the KDE
Control Center.
