Here is my computer configuration.  I don't have time right now to try a vga16 
install, but will 
report how that works later.  My real worry is about a newbie getting a copy of 
Mandrake and 
being unhappy about this, or a reviewer having this problem.

It appears the installation code does not recognize the video card, an Nvidia
Gforce 4 Ti4200 properly.  The display blanks, and the keyboard LEDs start to blink.

This problem has been around for a while, and will be an issue if 9.1 releases
without a good fix in place.  I recently did an RC1 install, and used text mode
after finding this problem was still present.
