------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-22 17:37 -------
Checking 9.1 RC 1:

The new layout does the trick! One UI comment, however: the chosen colors
(sometimes white on light blue, black on dark blue) sometimes make text
difficult to read (or write).

description:
The installation apparently uses som X server, which - at least with a monitor
that cannot be discovered automatically - defaults to VGA settings (640x480).
Some installation steps - most importantly manual disk partitioning - then have
buttons outside the visible box, and are effectively impossible.

Either the installation program must be usable at 640x480, or perhaps it could
be possible to use a key combination to change X screen resolution - to be able
to switch to VESA 800x600 or VESA 1024x768 with [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[+] or [-] if the
(hopefully) identified graphics card supports it (risking that the unidentified
monitor can handle it).
