I'm running rp-pppoe myself on several machines, with different providers, and
everything works for me. Besides, the pppoe version is the same as in 9.0, just
recompiled for the new glibc.
My suggestion is: shutdown your machine, wait 30 seconds, ungplug and replug the
power cord of your ADSL modem, wait 2-3 minutes, reboot your machine and try to
connect.
If it still fails, do a "tail -n 100 /var/log/messages > /tmp/pppoe.debug",
create a new bug report, and send this file as an attachment. Also, I will need
the exact version of your glibc, rp-pppoe, initscripts and ppp packages. You can
get the version by doing "rpm -q <packagename>".

Installing: ok, all works very fine, but i was not able to make a connection
with my provider (t-online, germany)
login name and password was ok.
I dont know if it�s the gui, or the core.
In the older versinos its works wery well (8.0-8.2-9.0)
