Yes, I tryed it, but it is about two years ago (I think Version 1.3.6 or so). 
But the courier way is not sufficient. With cyrus you can give a group or 
person read access, a other write and so on. Maybe this is possible with 
ext3-acl filesystem in courier too. I never tryed out courier since 1,5 
years.
