You know, that's very funny... The fact that the panels (I have two, one on the bottom of the screen, on the top... is why I prefer xawtv! So, like Thierry said: "free software world is a free choice one :-)" Also, I notice in another thread that Xine can take a v4l input, so I'll have to explore that as well.
