Maybe I missed the point of mcserv but I never saw the use of it. Wasn't it meant to enable my local mc to browse remote files? > I'm also planning to drop gmc from the specfile. good. There was a lightweight alternative to nautilus the name of which now escapes me. Anyway, there are a few mc style GUI apps if people insist on having them. Though I always opt for mc in xterm when in GUI. It's a pity that of all GUI console apps the gnome one doesn't like mc because the gnome console maps the Fx keys to its own functions. > Gmc was dropped from > gnome2, from mc, and there's only 1 vote on mandrakeclub, so I guess > dropping it from the specfile seems ok to do. agreed - Mark
