I don't know if this would expected to work or not, but I thought I should log
it. I had a Beta 4 install (a complete install from scratch) and did an upgrade
install to RC1 (booted up the RC1 CD and selected upgrade). I selected the same
set of packages I had for the initial install and it all seemed to go fine.
However, after the install, the OpenOffice applications were all toasted, they
wouldn't run. There may have been other problems as well, but none I stumbled
across. I reformatted / and did a full RC1 install and OpenOffice apps now work
fine.
