------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-07 23:20 ------- Got the kernel-2.4.21.0.pre4.3mdk installed and the wvlan_cs module still not loading, I looked and it isn't and the cardmgr is looking in a location different than where it would exist. The cardmgr is looking in /lib/modules/2.4.21pre4-3mdk/pcmcia/wvlan_cs.o --this folder doesn't exist The module is usually at /lib/modules/2.4.21pre4-3mdk/kernel/drivers/net/pcmcia/wvlan_cs.o --or at least that's where it's been in the past There also doesn't seem to be any power support at initial startup, I editied /etc/rc.d/rc.local to load the acpi modules and it all works well. I also copied the wvlan_cs module from the 2.4.19-16mdk to where the cardmgr expects to find it and it gives a rather large list of unresolved symbols and fails. I have tried to build this kernel from source a couple of times and each time the wvlan_cs module won't build, is there maybe a bug in the kernel/makefiles and not a matter of misconfiguration? I'll keep trying and you'll be the second to know of any success.
