Just solved this problem for a friend last night. You need to upgrade Quake3. I don't remember all the details, but if you look at Dec 26, 2002 in the list archives (I forget who posted it), there is a similar thread, and it contains the URL for the upgrade patch. TTFN, Lonnie Borntreger
