------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-01 21:20 ------- is it also 80x25 during installation boot? ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-02 01:04 ------- During installation, it uses the graphical (non-X, I take it) interface. Not 80x25. But, during installation boot, before the graphical part kicks in, if there is such a part, that would have been 80x25 (I've never noticed any text-mode which was not 80x25) Another thing I should have mentioned: this problem occurs before Linux even starts loading. Right after hitting Space/Enter/whatever to get around the problem, I get the "Loading Linux" message (or whatever) ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] description: Trying out Mandrake 9.1 beta 2, on a Dell Dimension 2350: When it boots, right after "BIOS data check successful", I get the message: "You passed an undefined mode number. Press <RETURN> to see video modes available..." After 30 seconds, it continues booting, and everything is fine.
