           Product: Installation
         Component: hardware
Summary: Install fails on external USB hard drive
           Version: 1.769
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Using usb.img for the boot floppy, I cannot install Cooker from an external USB
hard drive. During stage1, I cannot get past mounting the drive as it tries to
load the appropriate filesystem module. USB hard drive has one FAT32 partition.
So it seems that fat.o (and/or vfat.o) is missing from the usb.img. I have an
easy workaround posted on my personal website, but I can't afford high traffic,
so if the Cooker team wants to refer it to testers, someone else please provide
space (the work around is an 8MB bootable iso).
