In the end, that wasn't the problem. I recompiled the package on my machine and the ldap server worked (with the (maildrop-) schema that came with the package). I guess something went wrong when compiling the package on the cluster.Florin,
The maildrop schema is a change to the core schema (see patch). Was changing the core schema actually tested on a working implementation (any upgrade issues)? I had a working ldap this morning (with -1mdk) and now (with -3mdk) it's dead (can't browse it anymore with gq, and my machines can't find anything in ldap anymore).
Any hints on how to get it working again?
the problem is that several schemas were not as %(configfile)s ... and they have been replaced by the new install ... I'll fix that ASAP ... sorry for the inconvenience
