It may be my stupidity but..
Just tried to ./configure a program and got the following:
[root@pc-support xine-d5d-0.2.3]# ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for working aclocal... found
checking for working autoconf... found
checking for working automake... found
checking for working autoheader... found
checking for working makeinfo... missing
checking for strerror in -lcposix... no
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH
I checked the installes and have the following installed:
[root@pc-support xine-d5d-0.2.3]# gcc
gcc-3.2 gcc3.2-version gccmakedep
Is this me being a newbie or is it something more serious?
