.. because you can have problems, and you can boot without devfs
support. look at: /etc/lilo.conf section with label "failsafe" ...

why you discuss about this? andrej have right, dev package updates no
frequently, if you _must_ update this, boot without devfs support, reboot,
update, reboot with devfs and feel you lucky.. and don't discuss ;)
