This is not a good day, I am trying to print some pictures from the gimp to fill my portfolio for some galleries I am to be visiting in Florida. I am leaving tomorrow and I just came across some horrible printing bugs. Unfortunately I have no time to track them down but I will give you some info.
I have a epson 1270 connected to a print server using cups. I have set it up using printdrake with the 1270 drivers. I am using gimp on another cooker system. Both have almost identical software installed although the print server was upgraded from 8.1. The problem is, if I try to print several pictures at once, I am getting screwed up pictures. Some of the screwups will just be on the beginning edge and the ending edge of the print job (top/bottom), some of the screwups will involve huge chunks of the picture not being printed (each line printed would be correct but there would be lots of missing lines), some pictures would not even make it to the print que. I have no idea what is causing this but the timing could not be worse. ===== SI Reasoning [EMAIL PROTECTED] A requirement of creativity is that it contributes to change.
