Hello.

This is my first post on this ML, i hope it's not too late. BTW, this is
kind of cross-post, but I just don't believe in WWW-based Forums :)

Linux Terminal Server Project (http://www.ltsp.org) team made great effort
to bring diskless computing to the masses. Their package - ltsp-3.0.1 is
efficient tool for creating full-featured diskless terminals with support
for remote sound, scanners, printers and other peripherials.

To fully experience sound capability of the package, artsd, the sound
daemon for kde needs to support NAS - network audio support daemon.

The package (http://radscan.com/nas.html) needs to be installed on the
builder's system in order kdelibs configurescript detects the include and
header files properly.

After that one can enjoy seamless, networked sound on the diskless
X-terminal running nasd.

Please include NAS support in distribution version of kdelibs package.

Best Regards,
