What would be even more amazing about this is SiS choosing a decent chip as the foundation for one of their products... SiS-6326 video and RTL-8139A networking haven't been good ambassadors for them. I use Yamaha 744-based sound cards rather than 740-based, and there might be a difference other than 2 less channels, but the 744 soundcards I have are great, low-CPU, low-noise, yadda yadda.
