Who reported this? Or did you see this happen yourself? I was pleased to
see my mouse finally working (gpm works too), but I was equally
disappointed when I just came across this.
It works fine for me. And realize that these days all systems come with a
mouse with a mousewheel. This means more people will end up having a
broken mouse than not.
If you're going to disable it, please provide another Aurora package with
it enabled. It might not be good to have each Aurora rebuilt, but at least
one with imps2 support (probably the most common one), would be good.
I should mention that all I find on ftp right now is WsLib-devel, so I
am not sure what actually provides WsLib. I also have an older gpm rpm, so
here are my versions:
Aurora-8.2-16mdk
gpm-1.19.3-8mdk
I can check and see if it's a problem with gpm (devfs support?), just let
me know.
