first we've to hack mkinitrd, and i'm not sure how much will we gain, besides initramfs is always in, (but it's pretty experimental stuff yet, and i haven't heard of successfull initrd's using it) probably better wait for it me thinks, better get Andrey's module-init-tools with gziiped module support & compress the modules there was also a patch flowting around for adding a config option for compilation with Os best, svetljo -- NEU F�R ALLE - GMX MediaCenter - f�r Fotos, Musik, Dateien...
