This is what I've just posted to a few threads on mandrakeclub:

So....

I grabbed http://dri.sourceforge.net/res/voodoo5/x86/libglide3-v5.so

Put it in /usr/lib and did `ldconfig`.   DRI now works.

My guess is, an RPM is missing from the 9.2 distribution, something like
Glide_V5-DRI-3.mumble.i586.rpm
