It appears that Pixel has caught on to the
problem and will be fixing it. Not sure when/how,
you'll have to check with him. As for an
alternative, the only one I know of is to use the
graphical installation. That's how I got around
the problem. I was using NFS in both text mode
and graphical.

your idea is good to mount over NFS but I'm connected about tr0 (tokenring),
therefore I need a other idea what I can do in this case. Is there a other
possibility to install a thinkpad 765L in textmode?
